    Altsteirerwein

Our Altsteirerwein, also called "Altsteirischer Mischsatz" (Oldstyrian mixture) comes from an 80 year old vineyard. Down through the years different varieties have been grown in this vineyard. There are between seven and ten different varieties of ths wine, all of which are harvested independently according to their individual grade of maturity and subsequently fermented altogether.
This is considered a rarity in Southern Styria as nowadays there are almost no other comparable vineyards.
The wine developes individually each year but its harmony of nose, body, fruit and acidity always impresses winelovers.

Harvest 2004: alcohol content 11,5% ;dry ; 2,4 grams of unfermented sugar; acidity content: 6,2 grams per litre

Price: 4,30€
